Today is already a multi-award winning, Serbian musical festival was held first in 2000 in the castle of Petervar. One anti-government demonstration made it to be a music festival, which is held in each year since then. Since it’s establishment more than 2 million people are visiting from 60 countries and it was a topic on CNN and at the New York Times also. They won the best-European festival award in 2007, on the UK Festival Awards competition. In front of the twenty stages there are daily 60 thousand visitors attending (in 4 days it means app. 240 thousand people!). The highlights of this year were The Chemical Brothers, the Faith No More, Missy Elliot, LCD Sound system, Mika, Placebo, Röyksopp, David Guetta and the Pendulum. Besides the concerts Exit made several alternative programs, such as discussions, workshops and they did not miss the festival cinemas neither.
